About

My background spans software development, computer systems, networking and digital design, supported by computer engineering studies and multidisciplinary project work

01

Approach

My work sits across engineering, software and design. Computer engineering has provided a foundation in programming, networking, digital technology and computer systems, while practical development work has expanded into web applications, databases, interfaces and technical coordination.

Independent projects extend that work into game development, information architecture and visual design. The common focus is building functional systems while considering how information is structured, communicated and experienced.

02

Engineering & systems

My computer engineering background covers programming, digital technology, communication networks, computer systems and the technical foundations behind modern software and connected systems.

A recurring area of interest is how individual technologies become larger systems: how components communicate, how information moves, where complexity is managed and how technical decisions affect the resulting user experience.

Networking has remained an important part of that foundation through both my studies and Cisco Networking Academy work, alongside practical interests in computer hardware, troubleshooting and understanding the systems software ultimately runs on.

03

Software development

Most of my practical development work has centred on web applications, interfaces, databases and the systems connecting them. I have worked across front-end and back-end development, testing, debugging, documentation and technical coordination.

Practical work has included reworking and completing a major onboarding experience for a SaaS platform, spanning interface development, application logic, database flows, testing and troubleshooting.

This work has reinforced that software development extends beyond implementation. Architecture, usability, maintainability, communication and understanding the underlying problem are equally important parts of delivering a useful system.

04

Creative practice

Alongside engineering, I work across game development, interface design, graphic design and other visual work. Projects like Untitled Game Project explore game systems, interaction and pixel-art environments, while Odyssey Archives investigates information architecture, historical knowledge and archival identity.

Design and engineering frequently overlap within these projects. Interface work requires both visual decisions and technical implementation, while game development combines programming, systems design, art, interaction and narrative. Odyssey Archives similarly connects historical research interests with information architecture, data structure and product design.

These projects provide a practical setting for applying technical and creative skills within the same development process.

Other interests

Interests in history, games, visual art and worldbuilding often inform independent projects. Odyssey Archives developed from historical research interests, while game development provides a space to combine programming, systems design, visual work and narrative.

Outside digital projects, my creative interests also include miniature painting and other hands-on work.
